Castle Hill residents living with disabilities, their families, carers, and support teams will have the opportunity to connect with local disability providers at the Sydney Hills Community Disability Expo. Hosted by Disability Events Community (DEC), the Disability Expo allows locals living with a disability and their care team to explore local support and resources, and provides a networking opportunity for businesses and professionals working in the disability space.
Attendees can explore a range of local NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) providers, specialising in everything from assistive devices to support services. The expo is also an opportunity for people living with disabilities, care teams, and NDIS providers to connect and share their knowledge and experiences working within the NDIS.
The DEC was established to facilitate networking within the NDIS community, running local expos to give NDIS providers the opportunity to develop their professional network, and connect directly with NDIS participants and their families.
Local expos like this one can be a great opportunity for small businesses to promote their products and services to both potential customers and to potential partners within the industry. Expo stallholders often give out free Promotional Products featuring the company’s Logo Design or contact information to build their brand awareness in the community.
The Hills Community Disability Expo will come to Thompson Hall on Wednesday May 21st.
