An esteemed venue in Castle Hill will host a celebrated farmers market specialising in fine food later this year.
This winter, the Hawkesbury Harvest Farmers and Fine Food Markets will be arriving at the Castle Hill Showground. June will see the Saturday market presenting a wealth of fresh produce designed to “thrill the taste buds” of locals and visitors alike.
The event is also pet-friendly, so Castle Hill residents with a four-legged family member can bring them along.
Events offering or barring entrance to pets often employ expert poster printing services to create notices they can display, explaining their rules and restrictions.
The fine food market is designed to promote how important fresh and seasonal produce and sustainable agriculture is to local areas. It also aims to showcase small business in Castle Hill and introduce suburb visitors to the culinary wonders of the region.
Fresh flowers, ground coffee, free range dairy, crisp salad, baked breads, artisan pasta, basil infused olives, local Bilpin apples and sun-dried tomatoes are just some of the abundances on offer at the event.
The Hawkesbury Harvest Farmers and Fine Food Market will take place on Saturday, June 22 at the Castle Hill Showground. The event is accessible by Showground Road off Gilbert Road in Castle Hill, and the market will begin at 8am and run until noon.
