Kite flying festival to soar into Castle Hill

Families in Castle Hill are preparing for a popular festival returning to the suburb in January.

Now in its seventh year, this family-friendly event is a celebration of community, cultural diversity, creativity and kite-flying fun.

The event will bring together families, kite enthusiasts, tourists, visitors and local community groups for a day of excitement.

Kite displays will feature a stunning showcase of colourful and unique kites, while live DJs and musicians will provide upbeat entertainment throughout the day.

Children can enjoy the jumping castles and rides, and festival-goers can take part in the face painting and henna art sessions.

Kite stalls will feature kites and threads available for purchase, and there will be a variety of foods and drinks on offer.

Organisers of community festivals are using banner printing to market their events. A bright, attractive and informative banner is the perfect way to share event details and to spark interest among locals in the community.

The Kite Flying Festival will take place on Saturday, 10 January. The venue will be Castle Hill Showground, located on Showground Road in Castle Hill. Festival proceedings begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 7:00 PM. Tickets are free, and attendees are advised that no outside kites or threads can be brought into the venue. Bookings can be taken through the Eventbrite website.
