Castle Hill Library is holding immersive classes designed to benefit babies and their parents this spring.
Families with newborns in the area can attend special events designed for babies aged up two years old. Dubbed “Baby Bounce”, the interactive sessions are taking place at Castle Hill Library on mornings and afternoons, and include 20 minutes to half an hour’s worth of rhymes and songs.
Created to benefit not just babies, but their parents and guardians too, the events are engineered for fun and to promote literacy.
Organisations and community groups offering educational experiences to members of the public often use brochure printing services to create literature that includes session dates, and answers frequently asked questions.
Experts have uncovered that rhyming and singing are an important element of early literacy, which is the foundation of learning how to read. Singing can also help children learn to communicate and enhance their voice development, promoting emotional wellbeing.
Sessions are designed to help children learn about feelings and emotions, and techniques are taught to help parents get their babies either energised or soothed. They also teach babies how language works and to understand basic spatial concepts and counting.
Baby Bounce will be held at Castle Hill Library on Thursday, October 24. The library is located on Pennant Street in Castle Hill and the session will start at 10.30 am.
