Interactive concert taking place in Castle Hill

The Western Sydney Youth Orchestra is giving people the opportunity to meet the orchestra in Castle Hill.

Aiming to introduce young children and families to orchestral music, the ‘Meet the Orchestra’ concert is designed to be not just informative but also lots of fun. The conductor, James Penisi, and the musicians will introduce the children to the different wind instruments in the orchestra and the kind of sounds they each make.

The concert is designed to be interactive and children are encouraged to stamp their feet in time with the drum, clap along with the tubas, wiggle to the notes of the clarinet or dance to the delicate sound of the flutes.

The Western Sydney Youth Orchestra is part of the Sydney Youth Orchestra which provides education programs and orchestral training for over 500 young musicians from 6-25 years of age.

Organisations such as this often use printing services to create Posters and Brochures to generate interest and convey information to the community.

There will be two performances of the concert on Saturday 25th May, with one taking place at 9:30am and the other at 11am, both at the Pioneer Theatre in Castle Hill. Tickets can be purchased online through the Sydney Youth Orchestra website and cost $25 for adults and $15 concession or child over two years. Children under two are admitted free. Seating is not allocated.
