Castle Hill to hold retro dance party

An upcoming party with a ‘50s and ‘60s theme, and inspired by a beloved US TV show, will be held in Castle Hill this autumn.

Fans of the television show Happy Days who are looking to party in Castle Hill are in luck this year. Autumn will find the Castle Hill Bowling Club presenting a special event called Julie T's March Dance Party, which takes its theme from the hit American sitcom.

Local social and sports clubs holding events inspired by TV programmes sometimes call upon flyer printing services to create hand-to-hand advertising materials featuring popular characters.

The upcoming event at the local bowling club invites revellers to step back in time to the 1950s and ‘60s, and dress in their best Happy Days style attire. Event organisers suggest clothes to wear like leather jackets and poodle skirts, but also recommend partygoers come as their favourite characters from the show - whether its Arnold, Richie, Joanie, Marion, Leather Tuscadero or “King of Cool”, The Fonz.

Highlights of the event include a dedicated dancefloor, photo booth and a themed dance routine.

Julie T's March Dance Party will now take place at the Castle Hill Bowling Club on Friday, March 14. The party will get started at 7 pm and runs until 10.30 pm, and the club can be found at 79 Castle Street in Castle Hill.
