Castle Hill residents invited to fundraising dinner

Residents in Castle Hill and surrounding areas are invited to attend a special Youth Against Violence awareness and fundraising dinner next month.

Aimed at combating the issues of youth violence, gangs and crime, the night’s events will help support youth development opportunities throughout the local area. Young people, adults and families are asked to attend and listen to a range of guest speakers with first-hand experience working in the youth sectors. The night will also allow family members who have lost loved ones to youth violence the opportunity to share their stories.

Fundraising dinners and awareness-building events such as this can benefit from seeking out Print shops to assist in preparing event programme Booklets and other materials.

Featuring a three-course dinner, all funds raised throughout the night will help support Youth Against Violence’s school-based and community programmes, as well as helping support the upcoming opening of a new youth centre, which is due to open in March 2022. The night will also provide community members with a much-needed chance to reconnect with their neighbours following the trials of COVID-19 lockdowns in 2021.

The Youth Against Violence awareness dinner is scheduled for Sunday, January 9th at Bowman Hall in nearby Blacktown. Tickets cost $80 per person and will also include raffle tickets for special prize draws to be held on the night.
