Residents of Castle Hill and surrounding areas who are living on the autism spectrum are being invited to bring their families along to a special family gala day.
An all-inclusive event for those on the autism spectrum, their family members and the broader community at large, this free event has much planned for an exciting, fun-filled day out.
Organised by the non-profit charity organisation the Autism Advisory and Support Service, the Living on the Spectrum Family Gala Day will have rides and food trucks, as well as information stalls operated by various service providers. Community events such as this can benefit from flyer printing to help advertise details to local community members.
To help support attendees throughout the event, special sensory zones will be available on the day, including a zone dedicated for adults with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). The event will also host a petting zoo, art workshops, first responder displays, face painting and live music. An open mic talent show is also available for performers with ASD to share their talents on the day.
The 2022 Living on the Spectrum Family Gala Day is planned for Sunday, 20th February at the Sydney Olympic Park from 10 am to 4 pm. More information about the event is available from the Autism Advisory and Support Service website.
