Castle Hill celebrates return of popular jazz event

After suffering a delayed start to the 2021-22 season due to COVID restrictions, and then having their November event cancelled due to rain, Castle Hill residents are finally ready to celebrate the hotly anticipated return of the popular Jazz at The Pines event later this month.

Organised by The Hills-Kellyville Rotary Club, with all proceeds being put toward helping fund future Rotary projects, the Jazz at The Pines series invites local residents and music lovers to enjoy a relaxing afternoon of live jazz on the majestic grounds of the historic Roughley House. Attendees can bring their own refreshments, or purchase tea, coffee and the ever-popular homemade cakes at the event. Live music event series such as this can benefit from poster printing to help advertise key dates and performers.

Kicking off the year’s programme with music from Carolyn Packer’s Stompin’ Rhythm Aces, music lovers are being asked to pack a picnic and relax for an afternoon spent under the pine trees. Attendees can bring their chairs or picnic rugs, or they can book a table. Table seating is strictly limited, however, so interested parties will need to get in quickly.

The first Jazz at The Pines performance for 2022 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, February 20th at Roughley House at The Pines in Dural. More information and bookings can be made online.
