Small business owners throughout Castle Hill are being offered an opportunity to brush up on social media at a special workshop aimed at both new and existing business owners.
The event will set participants on their first steps toward developing an effective social media strategy. Organised by The Hills Shire Council, this introductory workshop is being facilitated by Katina Beveridge, CEO of Strategic Online, a Sydney-based digital marketing agency. Business owners attending workshops such as this can benefit from having Business Cards close at hand to provide potential contacts encountered during the event.
Business owners who attend will receive specialist social media advice geared toward their business type and field, as well as learning where to focus their efforts and identify which social media platforms may best suit their needs. Participants will also learn how to secure some quick wins with their new social media presences, and discover how to set up an easy-to-follow social media posting system.
The “Ins and Outs of Social Media for Business” workshop is scheduled to run on Tuesday, 12 April from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at The Hills Shire Council Administration Building, Columbia Court. Tickets are $25 per person, and spaces are strictly limited. More information and links to book are available from The Hills Shire Council website.
