Rock and roll charity evening coming up

A night of rock and roll music will be held at a charity event this December in Brookvale.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll night will feature local northern suburbs band, Rock-It Science, who will be performing their Rock ‘n’ Roll high-impact show. The band will be playing popular music from both Australian and international artists such as The Angels, INXS, U2, Midnight Oil, David Bowie and the Easybeats.

The evening will begin with a two-course meal for guests who would like to eat prior to the show. Jack Gallagher and friends will perform throughout the meal as a lead-up to the main entertainment, and drinks will be available to be purchased from the bar.

Impromptu guest appearances will be made by undisclosed musical artists throughout the evening and will add a surprising element to the night’s festivities, which will include plenty of dancing.

Sponsored in part by the Rotary Club of Manly, the charity evening will also include a silent auction. The rotary club is well known for its distinctive Logo Design and charity work. All funds raised will go to the local charity group, Manly Warringah Women’s Resource Centre.

The charity night will be held on Saturday 14th December at the Manly-Warringah Rugby League Club in Brookvale at 6:30pm. Tickets cost $60 each including dinner or $20 each for the musical show only.
