A famous Sydney museum is set to welcome back a recurring event that celebrates creatives from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Brookvale residents with a passion for the arts will be able to start the new year with a creative experience. Organisers have announced that the popular New Beginnings Festival will return in January 2024.
The event will be the eighth edition of the festival, which represents a tribute to the work of performers, artists and craftspeople from all backgrounds including migrants, refugees and First Nations.

A family-friendly event, the upcoming festival promises to brighten up Darling Harbour from its beating heart, the Australian National Maritime Museum.

Its aim is to counter any negative sentiments, and instead encourage New South Wales citizens to celebrate all the creative contributions that different communities can bring to the nation.
The New Beginnings Festival will be held at the Australian National Maritime Museum on Saturday, January 27. The museum can be found at 2 Murray Street in Sydney, and entry is free.
