The Creative Open Festival will shine the light on the area's creative outlets and talents, with in excess of 60 local businesses set to be involved. The addition of the new festival for the arts calendar in Sydney has been described as exciting by Mayor of Northern Beaches Michael Regan, who added:
“From studios, galleries, and music-makers to digital labs, designers, and bookshops, the local creative community is on board and ready to welcome people from across Sydney for two weekends of fun, curiosity, and gathering inspiration.”
There will be many events and options for visitors, ranging from exhibitions and live music to seeing local designers and artists in action.
Participating businesses, venues and artists will be supported by the council in staging each event, with an event's programme set to be available soon.
Printing services are often employed to help spread the word about major events such as this festival, which will be held over two consecutive weekends.
The creative programme will include many highlights, ranging from opportunities to meet designers and artists, a chance to see an immersive audio-visual installation or attend a mono-printing class in Brookvale, plus so much more.
The Creative Open Festival will be held on 13 and 14 August, and continue on 20 and 21 August.
