Brookvale music lovers hear Grammy-winning band

A musical duo renowned for their comedy rock music have announced they will be bringing their new tour down under which includes a show in Sydney.

Those who love rock and comedy in Brookvale and other suburbs of Sydney are in for a rare treat this winter. Grammy Award winners Tenacious D have confirmed they will play a live concert at the ICC Sydney Theatre this coming July allowing fans from the city’s satellites to see Jack Black and Kyle Gass in action.

The upcoming show in Sydney is part of the band’s “Spicy Meatball Tour”. The poster for the tour is an illustrated parody of the action-adventure film “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and features Black dressed as Indiana Jones trying to outrun a giant meatball (With Gass embedded in it). Recording artists often work closely with specialist poster printing services to design and supply promotional materials for their tours.

From their self-titled debut with platinum status and cinematic opus “Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny” to the creation of “Festival Supreme” the acclaimed comedy and music event, the duo are beloved by critics, musos, and fans alike around the world.

Tenacious D will now be at the ICC Sydney Theatre on Sunday, July 14. The gig will kick off at 7 pm and the theatre is located at 14 Darling Drive in Sydney.
