Brookvale runners are preparing for the Beach2Beach Running Festival. This beloved annual event is scheduled to return to the area in August.
The Beach2Beach Festival is hosted by the Rotary Club of Warringah. It brings together the Northern Beaches community with events for all ages and fitness levels.
Runners can participate in a half-marathon, the 14-kilometre course, a shorter 6km or a 3km circuit.
Event proceeds support local charities in the area. Runners can fundraise and be sponsored, or they can donate to a cause later on.
At the conclusion of the event, a Finish Festival is held at Newport Beach. This festival will have live music, medal presentations, a recovery area, kids’ activities, and food and drink stalls.
A free shuttle bus will run from Newport Beach to help racegoers get home at the end of the day.
Organisers of similar community health and fundraising events can use graphic design to enhance their promotions. Attractive and engaging graphics draw community interest and help spread a message.
The Beach2Beach Running Festival will be held on Sunday, 24 August on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, NSW. Races begin at different locations: Dee Why Beach, Rat Park in Warriewood, and Mona Vale Beach. All races end at Newport Beach. Registrations are priced according to age and event. To register, visit the official event website.
