The Spokane Lilac Festival will be holding a festive bruncheon in December at The Historic Davenport Hotel.
The Holiday Bruncheon is a family experience where attendees can enjoy kid-friendly activities and brunch. The menu for the meal will include dishes like caramel and apple pancakes, Yukon Gold potatoes, and asparagus and brie frittatas. Children can create crafts at the event and take photos with Santa Claus. There will also be a donation station where attendees can leave gifts for the Toys for Tots organization. Guests are encouraged to wear holiday-themed attire to the event.
Entertainment for the bruncheon will be provided by the Ferris HS Canterbury Belles. The group is an advanced auditioned treble ensemble of 16-18 members. The Canterbury Belles attend several shows, including the Spokane Symphony Nutcracker, CWU Invitational, and the EWMEA Chamber Jazz Festival. The choir director of the group is Matt Johnson, a teacher who received his education from Western Washington University and Edmonds Community College.
The seasonal bruncheon will take place on Saturday, December 10 from 10:00 am to noon. The cost to attend the festive brunch is $50 for adults and $45 for children aged 12 and younger. All guests must register for the bruncheon by December 1. Organizers for holiday-themed events such as this may use banner printing to raise community awareness for their seasonal programs.
