Spokane to hold community beer festival
The West End District in Spokane will organize a beer fest in April that involves several local breweries.
The West End Beer Fest is a celebration where those who can legally drink may visit multiple breweries throughout Spokane for special deals and gifts. Five breweries will participate in this year’s event, including Whistle Punk Brewing, The Grain Shed, and Humble Abode Brewing. All locations involved with the fest will sell $4 pours. All participants will receive a commemorative West End Beer Fest glass and beanie. Attendees can choose which brewery will provide their glasses and apparel.
The festival will also feature live concerts from many local performers. The lineup for the fest will include Silver Smile, The General Machinery Company, and Justyn Priest. Silver Smile is a duo that has created original songs like “Something To Smile About” and “The Way It Goes”. The General Machinery Company is a hard rock band from Spokane that also makes original music, like “Bark at the Rain”. Justyn Priest is a musician and private music educator who has been featured in The Inlander.
The city’s beer festival will be held on Saturday, April 20th from noon to 11:00pm. The cost to take part in the celebration is $25 per person. All participants are required to bring their IDs to each venue. Communities that put together similar festivals can utilize banner printing services to advertise their fests.
