Community-Minded Enterprises will be holding a class in Spokane on working with children who have challenging behaviors.
Flip-It: Transforming Challenging Behaviors is a program that helps adults who work with young children by teaching them a useful social-emotional strategy. The lesson will show attendees how to educate kids about their feelings and improve their self-control through targeted interventions. The trainer for the class is Rebekah Klemke, and the program will consist of two lessons. Those who participate in both lessons will earn six STARS hours.
Community-Minded Enterprises is an organization that promotes diversity and inclusion of marginalized populations. The group offers many services, like its Child Care Assistance Program and Recovery Support Services. People can support the organization by sponsoring its recovery programs. Those who pay $500 can cover the yearly cost of the group’s programming for one person. Supporters may also volunteer to help with the group’s Recovery Café.
The program will be held on March 18 and March 25 from 9:00 am to noon. Guests are recommended to bring face masks to Klemke’s course, and all attendees are asked to bring their own Pens and paper to the class. People who are showing symptoms of any illness should not attend the program. Community organizations that offer courses similar to this may use brochure printing to share important information with attendees.
