The Six Bridges Art Association will organize a multi-day festival starting at the end of August in Spokane.
Pig Out in the Park is an event where people can browse local vendors while enjoying music from a lineup of talented performers. The festival will feature 50 food booths, such as Bibby's Italian Sausage, May Lou's Mike Bottle Desserts, and Three Twenty Below. Attendees can visit the Public Market to check out vendors like Dandy Lion Crystals and Jewelry, the Mountain Rose Traveling Emporium, and Flashback Unlimited Tye Dyes.
Pig Out in the Park was co-created by the Six Bridges Art Association and Burke Marketing in 1979. The event has been attended by more than three million customers. Since the first festival, the organizers have hired over 3,500 different musical acts to play at the event. This year's bands include the Randy Campbell Band, Snacks At Midnight, and the Heather King Duo. About $225,000 has been donated from the festival to local and regional food banks.
The food and music fest will be held from August 30 to September 4. Each day of the event will last from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, and there is no price to enter the concert venue. The program will take place at Riverfront Park. Vendors who attend large fests like this may use banner printing services to help their booths get noticed by the crowds.
