The Spokane Folklore Society will hold a fall festival in November at Spokane Community College.
The 27th Annual Fall Folk Festival is a two-day musical experience that invites performers to showcase their talents. Four people initially organized the fest in 1996. Spokane Public Radio will help kick off this year’s music festival by holding a two-hour program featuring those who will perform at the live concert.
Several volunteering opportunities are available at the folk fair. Volunteers may assist with the event’s bake sale, supervise children at the crafts station, sell shirts to attendees, and help clean up the venue after the concert is finished. Other roles that can be filled include greeters, stage managers, and hospitality room hosts.
Companies can become a sponsor for the folk festival to be recognized during the event. Those who pay between $50 and $99 will receive a button and 10% off their t-shirt purchase. Businesses that pay between $500 and $999 are acknowledged on the festival’s newspaper announcements and will be featured on event signage.
The 27th Annual Fall Folk Festival will be held on Saturday, November 12th and Sunday, November 13th. The event opens at 11:00 am on both dates of the music festival. Parking and admission to the concert will be free to all event-goers. Companies in charge of musical programs like this can use banner printing to improve their concert’s visibility to motorists.
