The Boston Cross-Country Skiers and Bicyclists will be organizing a cycling trip in July that starts in Spokane.
The Inland Empire Bike Adventure is a biking activity where cyclists can ride from Spokane to Glacier National Park. The excursion is an Appalachian Mountain Club Adventure Travel Trip and will be led by several guides. The main leader is Mike Barry, and the associate leaders are Chuck Huber and Leo Pon. Participants will get to see several landmarks during the journey, including the Spokane Centennial Trail, Montana's Flathead Basin, and the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.
The trip is intended for experienced cyclists who have been on multiday tours. Those who take part in the excursion should also have experience with remote terrain conditions. The cyclists must bring a bike helmet, gloves, and proper biking shoes for the trip. Attendees are also asked to bring multi-liter water bottles, bike maintenance kits, and clothing that can be worn in various weather conditions. Luggage support will be provided by the organizers.
The biking adventure will be held from Saturday, July 15 to Wednesday, July 26. The trip will cost $3,699 for members of the Boston Cross-Country Skiers and Bicyclists. Non-members must pay $3,799 instead. Clubs that organize expeditions similar to this may use poster printing services to advertise their upcoming trips to the community.
