Downtown Camas presents long-running motoring event
Downtown Camas will be filled with custom and classic trucks and cars on display at the 18th Annual Downtown Camas Car Show coming at the end of June.
Proud exhibitors can register their vehicles for $20 at the show, and can arrive from 10:00 am. All cars and trucks will enter at 5th and Adams where parking attendants will begin staging vehicles, and entrance into the show will begin at noon. Goodie bags filled with car-related promotional products will go to the first 100 cars, and the first 250 cars will receive dash plaques. Along with People's Choice and Best in Show, awards will include 18 others sponsored by local business, such as best modern import, interior, bike, Ford, Chevy, modern muscle, and custom.
There are no admission fees for spectators, and the event will also feature family-friendly entertainment such as raffles, live music provided by The Bone Heads beginning at 3:00 pm, dance performances beginning at 5:00 pm, balloon art, and activities for the children. The first 100 kids to enter the coloring contest will receive free Hot Wheels gifts.
The Camas Washougal Treasure House Food Bank is asking attendees to bring at least two food items. Mac and cheese, canned soups, and canned chicken and tuna are among this year’s requests.
