All children between the ages of two and twelve here in Camas are invited to attend the 33rd free annual Camas Egg Scramble coming in late March.
This year's Egg Scramble will begin at 1:30 pm with all age categories participating at the same time in different areas. Adults will be able to enter and aid the children in the two-to-three-year-old area, and during the Egg Stroll for those with special needs. All participants are advised to bring their own basket.
Colorful plastic eggs will contain tiny toys, candy, and prize tokens, which can be redeemed on site right after the hunts come to a close. The city is asking hunt participants to return the eggs so they may be used again next year.
The Kiwanis Club of Cascade Park will be sponsoring and hosting an Easter Bonnet and Contemporary Hat Contest beginning at 2:00 pm at the shelter house. The park's Scout Hall will have photo opts with the Easter Bunny available from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Families are invited to use their own cameras or phones for the photos. Many families take photos at events and then take the pictures to local Print shops to have professional-quality prints.
The 2026 Camas Egg Scramble will take place Easter Sunday, March 31 at Crown Park, NE Everett & NE 17th Avenue.
