Locals can fall back in time with the upcoming Cherry Hill Farmhouse open house, which will teach attendees how people made ice cream in the 1800s.
The Cherry Hill Farmhouse was built in 1845 and was an active farm until 1945, when it became the property of the city of Falls Church. In 1956, it was opened to the public as a museum, which hosts community events throughout the year.
To celebrate the start of the open house season at the Cherry Hill Farmhouse, the museum will be hosting an Ice Cream Social. Attendees will be able to discover how ice cream is made and even make and taste their own. With a wide range of events planned throughout the museum, visitors can try their hands at several yard games and tour the farmhouse.
Events hosted at the Cherry Hill Farmhouse are often designed with some form of education in mind. Leading up to such events, event organizers often utilize brochure printing services to help summarize the information conveyed at the event, making it easier for attendees to remember important pieces of information.
The Ice Cream Social will be held on April 5 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. It is free to attend and requires no registration. Cherry Hill Farmhouse is located at 312 Park Ave, Falls Church. Additional event information can be found on the museum's website.
