Falls Church gears up for spooky autumn celebration
The annual Halloween Carnival is returning in October, and plenty of spooky surprises await. Now that the dog days of summer will soon be coming to an end, residents of Falls Church have begun to prepare for what the autumn has in store.
This year's event offers many of the same attractions that have come to define previous celebrations. Examples include open-air games, a costume contest, autumn-themed snacks, and inflatable toys for children.
While primarily geared towards Falls Church families, there is also an opportunity for local businesses to become involved as sponsors. Any company that may be interested will need to submit an application by visiting the EventHub website by no later than September 19th.
Businesses will often employ these types of seasonal festivals to advertise their services. Some techniques include distributing promotional products, banner ads, and having their logos printed on various materials.
The Falls Church Halloween Carnival is set to take place on Saturday, October 25 from 1 PM to 5:30 PM. It is being held at Cherry Hill park located at 312 Park Avenue. If the weather fails to cooperate, the Falls Church Community Center at 223 Little Falls Street will serve as a substitute venue. Free parking is normally available on nearby side streets, and Falls Church families can attend at no charge.
