Sugar Land to enjoy Disney songs
Pandora will bring an official Disney concert Disney Princess: The Concert to town in early February.
Sugar Land children ages five and older will get the opportunity to see and hear the songs of Disney heroines.
The female performers will be:
• Susan Egan (the original Belle in Beauty and the Beast Broadway production)
• Courtney Reed (Jasmine on Broadway)
• Arielle Jacobs (Jasmine in Sydney)
• Aisha Jackson (standby as Anna on Broadway)
• Christy Altomare (Anastasia on Broadway)
• Anneliese van der Pol (Belle on Broadway in 2007)
• Syndee Winters (Lion King’s Nala)
In total, theywill perform over 30 princess-related songs. The prince’s parts will be sung by Adam J. Levy (Aladdin on Broadway). Songs will include “When You Wish Upon a Star,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “A Whole New World,” and “Colors of the Wind.”
Larger-than-life visuals and life animations add charm and ambience to the performance. The music director will be Benjamin Rauhala, who together with Laura Osnes (Cinderella on Broadway) has created this concert from their Broadway Princess Party series that ran from 2015 to 2020.
