Sugar Land runs with a heart
Sugar Land runners are invited to participate in the Fourth Annual Running with a Heart, a 2023 Sugar Land Rotary 5k walk/run.
Both adult in-person and virtual registrations are $40, and youth in-person is $25.
Swag will include Sponsors Facilities coupons from donors like BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Gringo’s Tex-Mex, and McAlister’s Deli, along with finisher medals and T-shirts featuring the Running with a Heart graphic design.
The top female and male finishers will receive a night at the Houston Marriott Sugar Land Hotel with valet, internet, and breakfast for two. Use of the whirlpool, pool, and health club is included.
Packet pickup will be at Sweetwater Dental Studio, 4840 Sweetwater Boulevard, on Thursday, February 9 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at Sugar Land Health Center, 167 Citadel Way, Suite 500 on Friday, February 10 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, February 11 from 6:30 am to 7:15 am at Sugar Land Town Square. Please note that there will not be registration at the site on race day.
The route will begin and end at 15958 City Walk at Sugar Land Town Square.
The race will benefit Parks Youth Ranch, an emergency shelter that offers services and counseling to neglected and abused 7-17 youth.
Parking will be available at the Texas, Lone Star, and City Walk parking garages.
Running with a Heart 5K will be February 11 from 6:30 am to 9:30 am.
