What's Happening in Sugar Land, TX…

Sugar Land celebrates with concerts, lights, and fundraisers

Over the next few weeks, Sugar Land will have the opportunity to enjoy the holiday season by attending three festive events.

A Sharing is Caring Mistletoe Jam featuring the Phillip Hall Trio will bring in the holiday cheer on Sunday, December 3 from 4:30 to 8:30 at the Roof-Sugar Land, 1531 Highway 6. Proceeds will go to the Salvation Army and to the Boys and Girls Club NW Houston.

The following weekend, the Expose Excellence Youth Foundation will be presenting its 2nd Annual Christmas Cheers: Howdy Holidays fundraising dinner. Since “Western Chic” will be this year’s theme, guests are invited to don their Western finest. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 pm.

All five available sponsorship levels come with the sponsor’s logo design printed in the Foundation’s seasonal newsletter, and the Holly Jolly ($1,000), Giddy Up ($2,500), Yee Haw ($5,000), and Howdy Partner ($10,000) levels come with each company’s logo design included in the event flyer, program, and website.

Howdy Holidays will be Saturday, December 9 at Hampton Inn Dugar Land, 218 Promenade Way.

Just a couple of days later, Constellation Field will be all aglow with Sugar Land Holiday Lights. Illuminated themed displays and over three million lights, including a 40-foot tree, will light up the area for the carnival, and holiday food and merchandise vendors will be present. Sabrina Patel will add to the ambience by playing holiday tunes at 6:50 pm and 7:20 pm.

Sugar Land Holiday Lights will be Monday, December 11 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
