Sugar Land attends arts foundation gala
The Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation will be holding its 21st annual gala in mid-January. This year’s theme will be ‘Through the Years’.
Honoree this year will be the first person to spearhead the gala 21 years ago – Kathy Huebner. The Dulles High School Viking Theatre Company and the Ridge Point High School Chamber Choir will provide the entertainment. James Patterson will be the auctioneer for the live auction. Some items up for bid will be a Museum Martini night, a deep-sea fishing trip which will accommodate four people, and a goldendoodle puppy.
Proceeds from the evening will go to fund the SLCAF goals and missions such as improving the Sugar Land Auditorium and supporting Sugar Land arts.
Five levels of sponsorships are still available. All levels will include name of contributor on the invitations and on the event program. Some levels will have full page advertisements. This information needs to be supplied to the organizing committee as soon as possible before they send the information to local print shops to be included in the program brochure printing. The $10,000 level will also include photo opportunities at the event.
The Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation’s 2020 Gala is scheduled for January 18 at Safari Texas Ranch, 11627 FM 1464, Richmond. The event will begin at 6:30 pm and end around 9:30 pm.
