Running series begins in Sugar Land
The Houston Running Series 2024 will begin with the LoveStruck 5k, 10k, and Kids K and Family Walk coming to Sugar Land in mid-February.
Swag for the in-person 5k and 10k will include unisex T-shirts sporting the LoveStruck 5k graphic design, chip timing, and boxes of Valentine chocolates at the finish line. Participants running in the Kids K will receive boxes of Valentine candy and T-shirts. An after-party will have music, drinks, food, and family activities.
The 5k and the 10k will start at 7:30 am, with the Kids K and Family Walk following at 9:30 am.
Registration for both the 5k in-person and virtual 5k will be $45 until the end of the year, $50 in January, and $55 from January 29 to February 17. Registration for the 10k in-person admission and 10k virtual runs will be $55 until December 31, $60 in January, and $65 from January 29 through February 17. The Kids K and Family Walk will be $25 until December 31 and $30 thereafter.
This race will be the first of eight in the 2024 Houston Holiday Run Series. Runners who complete designated numbers of races will receive swag such as water bottles, hats, sweatshirts, and backpacks.
