Spring workshop to help prospective students with college journey
The workshop “Navigating Your College Journey: From Prep to Campus” will be held in Spring this weekend to prepare high school students embarking on their college journey.
The dynamic workshop is intended for teens about to enter the complex world of college prep and higher education opportunities. It will be facilitated by Ideal Collegiate Prep and hosted by TWST4Girls to offer expert guidance to high school students grappling with often challenging aspects of the college prep journey.
Attendees will learn how to study for college entrance exams and apply for scholarships and financial aid. Students will also be advised of how to make the most of their campus tours by learning what departments to explore, the right questions to ask of guides, and how to determine if a college is the right fit for one’s needs and expectations. Workshop instructors will also show attendees how to build a college list tailored to their personal preferences and academic profile.
Academic workshops like this will often be advertised in the form of brochures that detail the specifics of the event. Local print shops specializing in business brochure printing services may be helpful in this regard.
The college prep workshop is slated for this Saturday, November 2 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. It will be held at the Barbara Bush Branch Library, located at 6817 Cypresswood Drive.
