As the summer vacation draws to a close, Spring parents should note that The Daily Bread Church (TDB) will host the TDH Outdoor Market and Back 2 School festival next month.
The event in August will combine the elements of an outdoor market experience with that of a festival celebrating the return to school for students. At the market area, attendees will find a diverse array of local vendors selling handmade and one-of-a-kind items. Local food trucks will also be on hand to feed hungry guests.
For the children, there will be exciting activities and games, as well as access to important resources to prepare them for the upcoming school year. There will be health screenings, immunizations, and free haircuts given out to those who need them. Organizers and sponsors will be giving out free school supplies while supplies last, and special giveaways of Promotional Products will also be ongoing throughout the event. Sponsors of the event include Urban Air, Harris County Public Health, and St. Luke’s Health.
The back-to-school market is scheduled for Saturday, August 5 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. It will be held at TDB, which is located at 19863 Holzwarth Road. The festival and market are free for patrons to attend.
