Spring starts holiday season with annual tree lighting ceremony

Next month, Spring residents can get in a festive mood with the “Lights of Old Town Spring” tree lighting ceremony.

Now in its 45th year, it marks the beginning of the Home for the Holidays in Old Town Spring celebrations, offering raffles, seasonal games, crafts for kids, and gift-booth vendors to see in the holiday season.

During the evening, Santa will lead a countdown to light up the tree, unveiling a dazzling display of lights. A snowfall effect - flurry snow – will add to the wonder and complement the bright illuminations. Shops and restaurants in Old Town Spring will also extend their hours to ensure guests can enjoy the range of local delicacies. Vendor registration is still ongoing at the time of writing, and all interested parties are invited to reach out to the organization to book spaces.

Admission is free, and parking is available in nearby lots. During events like this, organizers can leverage methods like poster printing to showcase parking guidance, timings, local performances, and details on activities suitable for the kids.

Set for Saturday, November 22 at the Spring Historical Museum, 403 Main Street, the event will kick off at 5:00 pm. The event is hosted by Old Town Spring, Home for the Holidays in Old Town Spring, and Pet Fest Old Town Spring.
