Pet lovers can enjoy a two-day fun event in Old Town Spring.
The PetFest 2015 is free to attend and will feature contests, vendors, and plenty of fun. Owners can sign their furry friends up for the costume contest, which will run on both days.
Pets can be entered on both days but must wear a different costume. Each entry costs $5. There is also a pet and owner costume contest. Each entry is $10, and cash prizes are available for the winners.
For $10, pet owners can enter their animals into the dog show. The first day will be the puppy contest, and the second day will feature the adult dog contest.
Another highlight of the fest is the Wiener Dog Race. Only purebred dachshunds are allowed to participate, and all participants must have a current rabies vaccination.
Attendees can visit the vendor booths for products, information, and pet resources. Animal rescue groups and nonprofit organizations will also be on site. These organizations have likely asked a business card printing service to make professional cards to distribute at the event.
The PetFest will take place on October 17 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and October 18 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. The event will be held at Old Town Spring Preservation Park, located on 130 Spring School Road.
