Animals hoping to become a pet might be in luck this month, thanks to PetFest 2014, which is dedicated to placing shelter and rescue animals in homes.
During this two-day event, there will be entertainment on different stages. Along with games, the family-friendly festival will feature different costume contests, a dog show, and an animal parade. Vets will be available for question and answer time too.
The PetFest offers a photo challenge for pet owners. The contest has many different categories, and the submission with the most Facebook ‘likes’ will win a prize. Entries need to be submitted by October 15 at 6:00 pm.
Animals at the event must be well-behaved and have up-to-date vaccinations. In addition, pets need to be on a leash, in a crate, or inside a pen.
A wide variety of non-profit and rescue organizations will have booths at the festival, and vendors will also be selling products. Registration and sponsorship Forms are available on the PetFest official website.
Event coordinators may want to ask a postcard printing service to create a direct mailer for the festival. This promotional item can easily be sent to residents in Spring to inform them about PetFest 2014.
