This winter season, Spring residents will get to enjoy The Light Park, a festive drive-thru light show hosted by Amstad Development.
Amstad Development, a group of real estate developers, hope that The Light Park will provide affordable and family-friendly holiday entertainment in a time overshadowed by pandemic restrictions. The Light Park will feature an elaborate drive-thru set up of over a million lights set to holiday music for families to enjoy in a safe, socially distanced manner. It will include a mix of holiday and Texas-themed props, Signs with Christmas trivia posted at various intervals, and the longest Christmas light tunnel in the US.
The Light Troupe, DJs with colorful holiday personas such as Santa and Pixel Penguin, will entertain visitors along their drive through the lights by spinning festive music and providing playful banter to immerse guests in the experience.
The Light Park is scheduled for November 5 through December 31. It will run seven days a week from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm in Hurricane Harbor Splashtown’s parking lot at 21300 Interstate 45 North. Tickets can be purchased in advanced on Eventbrite.com for $35 per vehicle online, or for $40 per vehicle at the gate.
Event-themed merchandise, which may require the aid of graphic design artists to create, will soon be available for purchase on the event’s website, thelightpark.com. Get a Free Quote for Signs
