An informative meeting for parents will take place tomorrow, October 5, at 6:00 pm, and on October 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm the school will have its annual Academy Showcase. Any differences between Wunsche and the rest of the Spring ISD campus' school Calendars should be supplied at each of these events.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs can be accessed by Spring ISD students via Wunsche H.S., which opened in 2006. Students undertake rigorous coursework and receive real-life experience, internship opportunities, and mentoring.
Core academics are combined with career exploration in such areas as computer technology, systems engineering, construction management, gas and oil, dentistry, criminal justice, welding, hospital administration, emergency medical technician, nursing, pre-law, veterinary studies, and culinary and pastry arts.
Additionally students can earn various types of college credits and get a jump on their post-secondary education.
Principal Andria Schur was quoted as saying:
“The academy will be accepting online applications for the 2018-19 school year October 1 to 31, and both these events have been planned to help families be fully informed when they make their decision to apply.”
