MB Speakeasy will hold the Edgar Allan Poe Party Dress-Up Party this October in honor of the Halloween season, which will provide a perfect backdrop for the Victorian goth-leaning party.
MB Speakeasy is a vintage craft cocktail bar located in Old Town Spring that offers live music nightly and serves up light bites. The lounge also frequently hosts special events in its space, such as themed dance parties like the Edgar Allan Poe Party. Its intimate and throwback atmosphere makes it the ideal venue to host a spooky Halloween bash.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best Edgar Allan Poe-themed costumes or more general Victorian goth-inspired outfits. The dance party will begin with a “spooky period music” to build the ambiance and set the mood as partiers arrive and take pictures against the spook-tacular decorations. As the evening progresses, the music will turn into an energetic dance party vibe. There will also be photo backdrops and props, themed drinks, drink specials, a palm reader, best costume contests, and even Edgar Allan Poe trivia.
