Hocus Pocus Pops will once again take over the stage at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Spring. This family-friendly event features music and costumes.
This event encourages all attendees to wear costumes, and the first 100 children who arrive fully costumed will be allowed to walk in the Goblin Parade. There will likely be photo opportunities at the park as well. The Great Pumpkin Express will leave from the Gold Lot of the pavilion, and will give attendees further spooky fun.
The show will begin at 7:30, and will feature Halloween-themed music. The Houston Symphony will be performing, and there will be others on stage during the event, including the Goblin Parade.
This venue has some rules for the size of bag allowed in, as well as allowed items. Items such as lawn chairs, grills, beverages, and ice chests are not permitted on the premises. Multiple parking lots are available – preferred parking, nearer the event area, will be $10, whereas free parking is available in nearby lots. All available lots are lighted and patrolled.
Events of this nature often use printing services to have schedules or other materials available to go home with attendees. This event is free, but reserved seating will be available for $20 per person. The gates to the event area are set to open at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 18.
