Spring gets in the spirit with seasonal event

Spring’s annual ‘Home for the Holidays’ will feature light displays and fun activities for the entire family.

The seasonal event is soon to take place in Old Town Spring. All the shops will be decked out in holiday decor. Guests can collect some gifts in one of the many stores or grab a bite at a wide array of diners. The ongoing weekend festivities will feature live entertainment from various choirs and carolers. Frosty the Snowman and holiday elves will be handing out balloons and candy canes.

A tree lighting ceremony marks the start of the event. Guests can witness the illumination of a huge Christmas tree and enjoy live music from The Invincible Czars. To attract Spring residents to the opening event, a flyer printing service may have been used to make promotional materials.

Other highlights include the ‘Be-an-Angel’ train that will ride through Old Town. Proceeds will help the ‘Be-An-Angel Foundation’, an organization that aids children with disabilities. Other opportunities to help include bringing an unwrapped present for kids. Wreaths across America, an organization dedicated to putting wreaths on the graves of veterans, will be taking donations too.

Home for the Holidays begins on November 8 and will take place every weekend through December 21. Santa’s Workshop will set up each day from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm. Kids can visit Santa and have their picture taken.
