Spring fundraiser to feature games and burgers

Next month, Home Place of Texas in Spring will hold its fundraiser Bingo and Burgers event to raise money for its efforts to advocate for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Home Place of Texas is a non-profit organization that helps individuals living with developmental and intellectual disabilities to learn independent life skills through socialization activities, enrichment programs, and volunteer site training. The organization also partners with businesses in the community to create empowering opportunities for those with disabilities.

The annual spring fundraiser will take place at the Butler House Restaurant. Ticket purchases will include six rounds of bingo comprised of six game cards per round, as well as dinner. Guests will be able to choose from three meal choices – the Butler Burger with garlic peppercorn aioli on a brioche bun, a hot dog with grilled beef sausage, or a chicken quesadilla with mozzarella cheese, pico de gallo, and sour cream. All meals will be served with a choice of water, tea, or fountain drink.

Local businesses may choose to become sponsors of charity events like this to offer prizes and Promotional Products for attendees to win while also gaining visibility in the community.

The Bingo and Burgers event is scheduled for Saturday, May 6 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Butler House Restaurant is located at 23931 Gosling Road. Tickets are $40.
