Spring benefit to support local victim of tornado damage

The Track Shack Ice House will host the Tornado Relief Benefit & Car Show for Robert Strickland next month to bring the community together to help one of their own get back on his feet.

The local bar is popular with locals for its cozy ambiance, ice-cold drinks, and plates of ribs. The venue also features live music and dancing, with many events of varying types being held there. The tornado relief benefit is one such event illustrating the presence of the bar in supporting the Spring community and its members.

In response to Spring resident Robert Strickland’s automotive repair shop, property, and vehicles being destroyed by a tornado in December 2024, the community has rallied together to put on the benefit and car show to raise money for rebuilding efforts. The event will feature a classic car display, BBQ plates, live and silent auctions, and live music.

Community events like this are often advertised on Flyers, which can be affixed to community bulletin boards or along the streets in high-traffic areas. Organizers wishing to Print these in bulk may visit their local Print shops that offer flyer printing services.

The tornado benefit is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 6, beginning at 12:00 pm. The Track Shack Ice House is at 25811 West Hardy Road.
