On Saturday, September 1 and Sunday, September 2, the Labour Day Fireworks and Live Music Weekend will take place at the Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau in The Woodlands, Texas, just a short drive from Spring. This event begins at 6:00 pm both evenings.
This annual celebration features fireworks on both evenings and is offering an assortment of musicians and bands for listening enjoyment. This should be a great family event that has many activities planned to keep both children and adults entertained.
This year’s musical lineup is particularly jammed packed. On Saturday evening, Mike Maker, who plays a medley of music and classic rock, will be rocking the stage between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm, followed by Alter Ego, an alternative music and classic rock act, entertaining between 7:40 pm and 9:00 pm. On Sunday, KAOS, playing music from the 80s, will be performing from 6:00 pm to 7:20 pm, followed by fellow 80s specialists The Spicolis. On each night, the fireworks are scheduled to begin around dusk. This is an outdoor evening event, so families are reminded that sweaters may be required, as well as lawn chairs or blankets.
Poster printing and flyer printing have probably been used to advertise this memorable family event to residents of the community and surrounding areas. Admission to this event is free, as is parking, and everyone is welcome. To learn more about the weekend, please visit The Woodlands website or call the Woodlands office during normal business hours.
