APQS Road Show Longarm Experience is headed to Spring next month for quilting enthusiasts to learn about APQS quilting machines, and which models are best for them.
APQS Road Shows are intended to provide quilters with information about APQS (American professional quilting systems) longarm quilting machines before dedicating to a purchase.
The show typically lasts around three hours, and will delve into the 40-year history of APQS and each machine's different specifications. Attendees to the road show will also be immersed in the world of longarm quilting by being able to meet fellow quilters.
This event is designed for quilters who do not currently own a longarm quilting machine, or those who wish to upgrade their model. The seminar will discuss how to uncover important resources about templates and batting, where to buy pantograph patterns, what accessories work best with each model, and how to properly clean and oil a machine. Attendees will also be able to test drive different APQS machines.
Seminars such as this will frequently give out informational Brochures to attendees detailing the different activities happening during the event. Print shops offering brochure printing may provide much needed resources for organizers wishing to go down this route.
