Mitutoyo America Corporation was set up in 1934 by Yehan Numata. At that time, one product was offered: the micrometer. Over the next several years, this was expanded to include many different products, focused on calipers, indicators, and many different measuring tools. Mitutoyo began adding electronics to its devices in the 1970s.
An open house for the new center will be held on July 16 and 17 at 4560 Kendrick Plaza Drive, Suite 120, in Houston.
