This November, the VEL Institute will host its 4th annual awards dinner to honor Spring area veterans and community leaders for their contributions.
The VEL (Veterans, Entrepreneurs, Leaders) Institute is a non-profit dedicated to helping area veterans build their entrepreneurship and leadership skills, as well as promoting collaboration between established community leaders and interested veterans. The Legacy Awards Dinner will celebrate those leaders, entrepreneurs, and veterans making exceptional contributions to the community.
Over 100 community leaders, entrepreneurs, and veterans are expected to attend the business gala, which will take place at The Augusta Pines Golf Club. Besides dinner, the event will feature a silent auction, reception, keynote speaker, and a presentation of three VEL Institute Legacy Awards. Business attendees may require the aid of Print shops specializing in business card printing to get ready for a night of networking and collaboration.
The Legacy Awards Dinner is slated for Thursday, November 5 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The location address is 18 Augusta Pines Drive. In-person tickets can be found on eventbrite.com for $100 plus fees. For those wishing to attend virtually, the tickets are a minimum of $10 donation, but the donation level be can increased. Businesses wanting to become sponsors can visit velinstitute.org to learn more about sponsorship levels. Proceeds go to supporting 2021 operations.
