Locals can head to historic downtown Spring for music, food, and fun at the end of the month.
The 2015 Texas Crawfish and Music Festival will feature a lineup of bands playing everything from country music to Latin rock. Grammy winner Terrance Simien will also be performing. Music groups will be playing on three different stages.
Along with live entertainment, guests can enjoy carnival rides and games, vendors, and shopping. In addition, attendees can see exotic birds and snakes. There will also be a petting zoo and a special alligator area at which guests can see baby gators, giant alligators, and other reptiles.
Crawfish, Cajun food, barbecued fare, and plenty of snacks and sweets will be available for purchase. Beer and other drinks will be sold, although coolers and alcohol may not be brought in.
A wide variety of organizations and businesses are sponsoring the festival. No doubt banner printing companies have created large Signs with the sponsors' logos.
Tickets cost $10 or guests can take advantage of special $2 Zydeco Fridays on April 24 and May 1. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gates. Children, 12 and under, get in free with an accompanying adult. Prepaid reserved parking passes are also available online for $10.
