Residents in and around Spring can listen to a long lineup of music while supporting a good cause later this month.
The Texas Music Throwdown is coming to The Woodlands. Artists performing at the event include Charlie Robison, Scooter Brown Band, Uncle Lucius, and Justin van Sant. From country to rock and roll, attendees will be treated to a variety of music.
The concert is held to benefit wounded military veterans. Proceeds from the 2015 event will go to help 'Heroes on the Water', an organization that utilizes a kayak fishing program to help veterans relieve their stress.
Pre-sale admission costs $10, or tickets can be purchased for $15 at the door. Children aged 12 and under may attend free of charge. Volunteers who sign up for a shift will gain free admission to the concert. Their duties include tasks such as setting up and selling tickets.
No doubt a poster printing service has been asked to create promotional Signs for the events. Posters could display pictures of the performing artists, along with the time and place of the event.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, but refreshments will be sold. Since there will not be any ‘formal seating’, blankets, and chairs are encouraged, but umbrellas and tents are not allowed.
It all takes place on March 21 at Town Green Park, located on 2099 Lake Robbins Drive. Gates open at 1:00 pm.
