Kids coding camp to cover robotics

In June, the Code Ninjas Summer Camp series will teach Spring area kids the basics of robotics by using Lego.

Code Ninjas is a coding franchise specifically designed for children, with locations all over the globe. The organization teaches kids to code as they build their own video games. The Code Ninja Centers provide a fun, safe environment for kids to develop their critical thinking, problem solving skills, and a whole range of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) abilities.

The summer camps focus on different tech and science-related topics, with different workshops lasting weeks or just for one day. The Robotics with Legos camp will take place from the middle of June into the middle of July. The students will work with LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime robotics kits to learn how to design, construct, and code their own robot. The classes will focus on teaching the fundamentals of motors, sensors, and coding.

Children’s workshops are often advertised on Flyers that organizers can hang up in family-friendly locations such as libraries and community centers. Print shops that specialize in flyer printing can be useful when printing such flyers in bulk for an event.

The Code Ninja’s Robotics with Legos Camp is scheduled for June 13 through July 17. It will take place at the Code Ninja Center on 1104 Rayford Road, Suite 700, Spring. Registration is $220.
