Food safety certification course to aid Spring managers

In early April, HRBUniversal, LLC will host its monthly ServSafe Manager Certification Exam and Instructor-led Course for the Spring area.

HRBUniversal is a leader in the food and hospitality industry, providing a wide range of food safety training and certificate programs. Its ServSafe certification programs are accredited by the Conference for Food Protection (CFP) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). They were developed by the National Restaurant Association in collaboration with numerous foodservice experts.

The ServSafe Manager Certification combines food safety research, food sanitation, and FDA food code knowledge to enable managers working in food-related areas to meet food safety issues head on. Students taking the course will sit through a one-day session led by expert instructors and then take an exam at the end. After registering, attendees will receive an email containing downloadable training material needed for the class.

Students may also purchase the current ServSafe book, but it is not necessary for the course or to undergo the exam. Organizers of such events may want to employ a team of graphic design artists to create visually appealing and effective graphics for their online training materials.

The Servsafe Manager Certification is scheduled for April 8, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. There are different certification options for the course. The descriptions and prices of these can be found on HRBUniversal’s website.
